WHAT IS THE NATIONAL YOUTH LEADERSHIP REGIONAL COUNCIL CONFERENCE?
All Four One focus on retention, persistence, and graduation in colleges and universities looking for more effective ways to support student success. But even for institutions with a transparent focus on persistence, putting effective programs in place is difficult. Clearly, our efforts to support students to graduation can be improved. As we continue to work alongside with policy makers to shift their focus from access—as important as that has been to the equitable delivery of education services—to completion, the failure of these efforts is likely to come under increasing scrutiny. Consider the policy-makers’ perspective:
DEVELOPING YOUNG LEADERS
The conference will bring together passionate and interested youth from across the city in round table discussions about the following topics:
• Social Anxiety and Avoidant Disorder
• Educational Reform
• Civic and Financial Engagement
Between facilitated discussions, snacks, lunch, and networking, you will also get the chance to speak to our many guest speakers, who will be imparting their knowledge on the topics at hand.
